Thursday September 13th 2007:  the first day to pull up or pay up in Shreveport.
“This is something that’s been around since the 1990s. We’re well into the 21st century as opposed to getting better it’s getting worse,” said Shreveport Mayor Cedric Glover.

It’s the first day police can cite offenders who sag their pants below their waist and show underwear or skin.
Violators will face up to a $100 fine and a day of community service for their first offense.
