Nicole Richie was sentenced to serve four days in jail for DUI, but faster than you can blink; Nicole was back on the streets. She spent 82 minutes or 1 hour and 22 minutes or 4, 920 seconds behind bars.    If I lived in California, I would be upset. That’s a waste of taxpayers money. She might as well have gotten probation from the beginning.

Reality TV star Nicole Richie was released by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department after serving just 82 minutes of her four-day sentence for driving under the influence of drugs.

Richie reported to the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood at 3:15 p.m. After being processed, sheriff’s officials released her at 4:37 p.m. Source: LA Times

I could spend 82 minutes in rush hour traffic trying to get from point A to point B. I could spend 82 minutes shopping at Wal-mart. I could spend 82 minutes surfing the net and not getting any work done. I wish I could get my a hair done in 82 minutes.
